MOVITRA

Movitra takes its name from the Latin ”Movere” meaning movement, and ”vitra” meaning glass. So a lens that moves, fluidly, dynamically, like a steam of water that cannot be stopped, like passion and the courage to dare. Movitra was born in 2016 in Milan from the meeting of three creative minds, three professionals and friends: Filippo, Giuseppe and Diego.  The idea was born on a beach, on a sunny afternoon a woman bends down to pick up her child and her glasses fall to the ground, with the lenses facing the ground. irreparably scratched. for many it’s just another situation, for the woman it’s a nuisance to be remedied. For the founders of movitra it’s the fuse that triggers a beautiful journey. Movitra aims to revolutionize the world of eyewear, combining the innovative idea of changing perspective with a contemporary vision of design, high quality materials and traditional craftsmanship. The way , one, clear and precise: to allow the frame to rotate on itself|( thanks to a mechanism positioned in the middle) and to close the temples on bothe sides to protect the lenses from accidental bumbs and scratches.
